  • Details
An ode to strong women everywhere, this pendant is an intricate study in old Viking shield designs. I fabricated it from argentium silver with handmade filigree scrollwork and granulation, honoring Norwegian silversmithing techniques. The center of the shield is dish shaped (see the back in the photo) to mimic an actual shield - imagine it wielded by a Viking shield maiden during battle. In my modern adaptation, of course, this jewelry is for adornment, and will not only be beautiful to wear, but give strong women an extra dose of confidence!

The pendant is around 1 inch in diameter, with a patina finish. It hangs on an 18 inch sterling silver chain.
